Houston, TX and Hyderabad, India - 25 Feb 2026 - Little Place Labs (LPL) and Take Me 2 Space (TM2S) today announced the execution of an agreement to conduct an on-ground demonstration (demo) of LPL’s ORBITFY software on TM2S’s OrbitLab ground test platform.

ORBITFY is an end-to-end Orbital AI and edge computing software suite that enables real-time, in-orbit satellite processing and autonomous decision-making. Built with a modular architecture, ORBITFY can be deployed across a wide range of satellite platforms and space-based infrastructure, transforming them into intelligent nodes capable of analyzing, prioritizing, and acting on data directly onboard.
By applying AI in space rather than on the ground, ORBITFY reduces latency, lowers bandwidth requirements, enhances security, and increases the operational value of every downlink. The platform supports capabilities including onboard image pre-processing and filtering, object detection and classification, advanced compression, quantum-safe encryption, and autonomous tip-and-cue operations for time-sensitive missions.
The joint demo is designed to validate the integration and performance of LPL’s preprocessing and specific applications, such as Aircraft Detection and Classification under simulated in-orbit conditions on TM2S’s OrbitLab. The demo will provide a clear view of how edge AI processing can reduce latency, optimize bandwidth, and enable near-real-time insights. Successful completion of the demo is intended to serve as a precursor to pilot missions, in-orbit deployments, and commercial agreements, subject to mutual alignment.
As part of its broader product roadmap, LPL is continuing to expand ORBITFY across distributed satellite platforms through partners such as TM2S.
“This demonstration marks an important milestone for Little Place Labs, as it represents the first step toward deploying ORBITFY on TakeMe2Space’s constellation,” said Bosco Lai, CEO of Little Place Labs. “Partnering with TakeMe2Space’s constellation reflects the global expansion of our distributed edge infrastructure, providing the coverage, revisit rates, and onboard compute needed to deliver near-real-time insights.”
